CUIZYNE

is a concept of connected kitchen utensils.
Much more than just a serie of objects, CUIZYNE allows us to pass on know-how, gestures, messages, tips, recipes and the desire to cook. The object centralizes the attachment between generations via the culinary transmission. This project is rooted in my childhood, in my parents’ hotel restaurant where I grew up.

An NFC chip is placed inside the handle. By approaching the phone, the application opens and allows us to find our own recipes, videos, messages but also those of its previous owner. The object then becomes a message carrier.

Ergonomic research of the handle for each object made with a wood lathe. Realization of the webdesign and graphic identity.

CUIZYNE
is the story of a unique child
who grew up in a hotel restaurant,
cradled in the midst of stoves and walking
between the legs of customers, with a father and grandmothers who were cooks,
where her 5 senses had the chance to develop; an unusual environment but one filled with love, smiles, gestures, recipes, utensils, fruit, vegetables, heat, noises, smells, meat, fish, shellfish...

CUIZYNE utensils,
she wants to pass on to you the values
that have been passed on to her.
French cook is the symbol of a rite,
mimicry, discussion and transmission:
Cuizyne combines the past, the present and the future.

Cuizyne utensils are a family affair that can be discussed, learnt, observed and cultivated over time.
